[vtkusers] cutting part of 3D and realignment the remaining volume again

Dear All,

I reconstructed 3D skull  see attached figure titled 1

I want to select part as in fig 2 , then delete it (as in the gap appear)

then realignment the parts again as in fig 3


Any suggestions, sample codes , Steps or scientific papers will be highly
appretiated
