[vtkusers] vtkTransformPolyDataFilter and actor->SetTransform ...what's the difference

One produces a new data set where the geometry is transformed. The other just draws the original data in a transformed location.

I have a general question about the vtkTransformPolyDataFilter class and the SetTransform method of an actor.

what's the difference in using the SetTransform in the actor and the vtkTransformPolydata filter?
