Yes, it's true that the exodus writer will handle time varying arrays. I'll take a look at the example there and see about extending it.

Someone told me that the Exodus format allows for time varying arrays to be stored. This is probably useful for many VTKers. It looks like a very daunting class - could someone who is familiar with it add to this shell example:

demonstrating how, for example, to have a series of Color arrays for the sphere? (maybe just something like (0,0,0), (.1,.1,.1) .... (1,1,1) = black ... to ... white)
