[vtkusers] VTK repository for ubuntu 9.10?

Hi, all:

It seems ITK now affords a repository specifically for Ubuntu 9.10 at
http://www.paulnovo.org/repository
(please refer to
http://www.kitware.com/news/home/browse/ITK?2009_10_28&ITK+3.16+is+Now+Available+for+Ubuntu+9.10
for references), but why not VTK as well?

I notice that current Ubuntu 9.10 repository affords VTK 5.2, but the newest
VTK is 5.4.2
So, is there anybody who affords maintenance of VTK that the newest VTK can
be directly upgraded from repository of Ubuntu 9.10 ?
Well, as well as the other softwares like CMake 2.80, paraview 3.6.1, IGSTK
4.2, VTKEdge, etc....
