Yesterday I added a CT volume rendering example to VTK cvs, in Examples/Medical/Cxx/Medical4.cxx, and you can download it from here: http://public.kitware.com/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/Examples/Medical/Cxx/Medical4.cxx It uses the headsq data and does ray casting. David
