[vtkusers] Trouble coloring the vtkActors (always turns out red)

I am having trouble setting vtkActor's color.
I can't figure out whats wrong with my program as the actor always turns out red no matter what color I set it to.
I am using vtk5.4.0 on a linux system.
Can someone please take a look at the attached files and explain what am I doing wrong ?
