[vtkusers] What is the function of SetSampleDimensions method of vtkVoxelModeller

Hi,

I couldnt understand the function of SetSampleDimensions method from the documentation. Can anyone explain 
SetSampleDimensions method of vtkVoxelModeller ?

it says "Set the i-j-k dimensions on which to sample the distance function" in the documentation.
