[vtkusers] how to transform an object already rendered

Good morning everybody,

I have this problem: I used vtkPicker to recover the actor for a 3D model already in the scene. I want to apply on it a transformation defined by a vtkMatrix4x4.
So I thought to use the SetTransform method in the vtkActor class.
now, i don't see any results coming in the visualization. Is there any other way?
