[vtkusers] selecting a region in 2D

Hi,

i'am working with the vtkImageViewer2 and want select a region (a 2D rectangle) of an image by mouse. Which is the best way to do this? There are few widgets like vtkBoxWidget or vtkImagePlaneWidget, but they are all 3D Widgets.

Which class could i use to do this in 2D?
