[vtkusers] VTK on Windows Vista

I am having problems using vtk with Windows Vista. Its working with XP although.
Can anyone tell me how to run a vtk based project on Windows Vista. 
I am currently  using Visual Studio 2005 and Cmake 2.6.4.
