Ok, I'll look into it. I was also wondering why there was a
vtkCxxSetObjectMacro
but no vtkCxxGetObjectMacro ? Maybe a similar patch should be made for this,
too?

If I understand the patch procedure correctly, I need write access to CVS
HEAD to submit a patch. Who do I need to talk to about that?
