[vtkusers] How to read texture from a PLY file?

Dear list,

I have a PLY file which contains texture information. I need to read this
file and render the mesh together with the texture on screen.
It seems that vtkPLYReader only read geometry information from the file. Is
is possible to extract the texture and apply it onto vtkPolyData?
