[vtkusers] VTK to 3D PDF

Hi,

Does VTK support exporting to U3D or IDTF formats?  I essentially would like to create 3D PDF from VTK datasets.  A previous thread "PDF 3D Support" mentions about lack of any VTK class, but exporting as IDTF files and using IDTFConverter to create U3D files.  Does VTK support exporting to IDTF format?  Any other approaches available?
