Thanks Mike,
                              I'll take a look at it. Just popped up  
the Shark user guide.

A quick google search for "C++ performance test tools mac os x" didn't  
yield anything useful. I also checked the Eclipse TPTP project and  
support for C++ tracing is just coming.
