[vtkusers] Structured points 2D grid intersection with an arbitrary polyline

Dear all,

 

Please could you tell me, if there is a possibility in VTK to compute the
intersection of the Structure points mesh (2D surface in one of the X Y or Z
planes) with an arbitrary line which is also lying fully in the same plane
as the 2D surface. The results of the intersection is a set of points, and
it would be important to know the relationship between the point and the
structured 2D surface (point<>cell).

 

I thank you in advance for any hints or suggestions in this respect.
