[vtkusers] How to import NASA SRTM DEM data into VTK

Hi,
        Could someone please give me some pointers on how to implement  
the following methods? The documentation doesn't contain any useful  
information on what it's supposed to do:

vtkImageReader2::ExecuteInformation()

vtkImageReader2::ExecuteData()
