[vtkusers] How to mapp the vtkTexture onto the vtkPlaneSource

Hello vtkusers,

I am working with FEA and I would like to use in my simulations, files of
some solids reconstructed by pictures.My files are saved with the extension
vtp, and I would like to know if is possible to convert it to iges files.
Or, if it is not possible, I would like to know if is possible to collect
some measurements from these vtp files with VTK.

Can somebody help me with my questions?
