Actually versions with odd minor revision numbers (e.g., the '3' in 5.3.0)
are "development" versions. They are never released as tarballs; they're
only available from CVS:
    http://vtk.org/get-software.php#cvs
Since version 5.2 has been tagged, the CVS trunk is now labeled as version
5.3.0.
