[vtkusers] polydata to image

Hello everybody,

I would like to transform a polydata into an image dependint on the camera position. I mean: I have the 3D polydata and of course the default camera. For each vertex I computed the normal. And I have a light too. So I would like to get the image of the polydata, from a particular position of the camera and mapping the pixel with the intesities between the normals and the source light.
Do u think is doable?
