[vtkusers] cutting based on contour

Hello,

I have some contours I which currently color using a second scalar from
another data set. I was wondering if it's possible to plot just some
contour lines of the second scalar on top of the existing contours.

I understand that what I'm looking for is cutting. However, vtkCutter
will only allow to cut along an implicit function. Any ideas on how to
generalize this to contours instead of implicit functions?

Help is greatly appreciated!

PS: The cutting example on page p.193 in the Textbook is extremely close
to what I need to do, however it uses vtkCutter.
