[vtkusers] Is VTK suitable for Real-time Simulation?

Is VTK suitable for Real-time Simulation?
 
I am using VTK for real-time deformation modeling, but I find it is low in efficiency.
 
How am I supposed to solve this problem and improve the computation effectiveness?
