[vtkusers] Question regarding plotting points in 3D

Hi
I want to know whether we can plot some 1 million points in 3D using VTK library ? Is it feasible using VTK?
I have to read date from some text files from where I get near about 1 million points.
How is the performance in the above case?
Can any give give a pointer to any example used for plotting?
