[vtkusers] Change image extension and add new information

Hello everyone,

I have a 3D image and I want to add a new layer of pixels(width 1 and value
255) at each border. Is there a way to add this new information to the image
and change also the size? Maybe vtkImageChangeInformation could be used, but
I don't understand how the extent of an image could be changed.

I would appreciate any help!
