[vtkusers] VTK volumes manipulation with ITK

  Hi everyone,
  I'm reading (with VTK) a VRML object, so i have a 3D volume image in my application.
  I want to know if i can manipulate this object with ITK? For example, can i apply Laplacian filter to this volume?
  If it's possible, how should i do???
