[vtkusers] fileformat/reader for vtkVolumeProperty

Hi vtkusers,

I need to save a vtkVolumeProperty permanently as a file. Is there 
already an existing fileformat, reader, etc. for vtkVolumePropertys and 
if not what is the best way to save vtkVolumePropertys (including all 
vtkPiecewiseFunctions and vtkColorTransferFunctions)?
