[vtkusers] object and motion in vtk ...

Dear vtk user,

I wish to animate and object, lets say a sphere. For example, the sphere 
can make a sinusoidal motion along one particular direction.
So my question is how motion is managed in vtk?
I mean, should I refresh the scene after each displacement?
