[vtkusers] simple example using vtk.vtkGaussianSplatter()

hi does any one has a simple example where vtk.vtkGaussianSplatter() is used?
i need to use it to join points an make a surface ...if it is possible.
please i need and example the ones i got read files and are on tcl and i am using python
all i want is to plot a surface between points.
