[vtkusers] how to increase thickness of line between two points with vtktubefilter

hi igot this progrma that plots lines beween each two given points p1 and p2
now i need to add thickess to the line using tube filter...
i have not use it before and it is givin me some trouble
can some one look at my code and help me so that i can see thicker lines? 
or give me a working short example where you have points, you draw lines in between an increase their size 
python 2.4, windows xp,vtk
