Michael, thanks for return my help request.
I believe the problem do not have any relationship with graphics driver. I
justify my opinion:
I have a application on TCL running ok called vtkGUI
(http://vtkgui.cineca.it/) and I´m using a HP notebook with a mobile Intel
945GM Express chipset Family that support OpenGL:

Hi Luis,
you should not need to recompile, since its also a normal 32bit
application.
The Problem with Vista is probably that its generic graphics driver dont
come with OpenGL support anymore.
Did you try installing the latest driver from graphics card vendor (for
vista of course) so for example from Nvidia or Ati HP directly.
My VTK app runs without problems on Vista 32 and 64 Bit. (But Im also using
5.x cvs version).
PS: Also it might help to start your program with administrator rights
(Right Mouse Button - context menu)
Regards,
Michael
