[vtkusers] selecting polygonal data within scalar range

Hi,

I'm fairly new to VTK and haven't been able to figure out how to deal with the
following scenario yet:

I'm using vtkCurvatures to compute the gaussian curvature of some polygonal data.
The thing I'd like to do is to extract polygonal data within the gaussian
curvature range [x,y]. Has anyone got a clue how I can extract polygon data from
a scalar range, resulting from vtkCurvatures?
