[vtkusers] Rotate Polydata before extrusion?

Hi,

 

since vtkImageTracerWidget can only be used on orthogonal planes, I need to
rotate the returned Polydata (tracer->GetPath()) before doing a
LinearExtrusion.

It seems I can only rotate polydata via an vtkActor (set by polydatamapper)
but this does only effect its position when visualizing it but NOT the
position for LinearExtrusion.

 

Is there a way to rotate the polydata before using vtkLinearExtrusionFilter
on it?
