[vtkusers] java, vtkPanel, and double buffering

Hello,

I am running the java version of the BuildUGrid example, on a Sun, with
VTK-4.4.2, and I am getting a flicker when I rotate the objects. 

The C++ version of the Cone example does not flicker, and neither does
glxgears, so there seems to be no inherent problem with double buffering
with vtk on the system.

How can I fix this so that the java example does use double buffering? I
am of course not very interested in the BuildUGrid example itself, but
if you cant get it to double buffer with java, then there isnt much hope
for my own java/vtk app.
