[vtkusers] VTK release not working: solved

I sent an e-mail explaining several problems with vtk, that I couldn't fix
after days trying.

The fact is that after following the same steps (severel times),
everything was solved with the CVS version of vtk. I tried again from
scratch with the Release, but still not problem.

This might be related to some previous bug that is already fixed but no in
the public release...
