[vtkusers] binarize an input image

Hi everyone,

I have a requirement where I have to convert a grayscale image into a binary
image. The background of the image is always either 0 or -1 and what I want
to do is transform the image so that any pixel that is not the background
colour should get the value of 255.

I am pretty sure there will be something in vtk that allows me to do this. I
was wondering if someone could point me to the correct filter.
