[vtkusers] question about class vtkPolyDataReader

i did not download the file you attached. but i can give u some info.
vtk data can either be in binary format or in ASCII format.

if it is in ASCII format, u can simply use notepad to open it and
kinda readable.

but if it is in binary, then ...

ok , i wonder if you generate the test.vtk by yourself or u download
from somewhere
if you generate it from by urself, then please give polydatawriter
more time to let it generate complete dataset. sometimes people just
close the generating program fast and the program is not able to
generate complete dataset. and when reading in the incomplete dataset,
it shows some error...

i am not how to know whether the data set is completed or not. but one
way i do i keep on probing the file size of the vtk data while i am
generating it. if the file size no more change then i assume the
generation is completed..... stupid way huh? :P
