[vtkusers] validating vtk interpolation schemes

Hi everyone,

Well, first off, happy belated 2007!

I have a task that requires me to validate the interpolation algorithms that
are used by vtkImageReslice (nearest neighborhood, linear interpolation and
tricubic interpolation).

I was thiking that I can have some predefined data sets and use the
algorithms and see if the results match what I had expected (I am pretty
sure they would).

Can someone advise me on what datasets would be useful for easy validation
of each of these algorithms?
