[vtkusers] How apply color mapping on volume with a lut.

Hi everybody.

 

I render a volume in gray scale color. I create a lut with
vtklookuptable with 256 colors.

 

In the book 'Visualization tool kit 3rd edition' the author says to use
LUT we need apply it on mapper.

 

But it is possible to apply it on vtkvolumeraycastmapper for example?

 

If it's possible how can I do that?
