Hi Luis,

 

you should not need to recompile, since it's also a normal 32bit
application. 
The Problem with Vista is probably that it's generic graphics driver don't
come with OpenGL support anymore. 
Did you try installing the latest driver from graphics card vendor (for
vista of course) so for example from Nvidia or Ati HP directly. 
My VTK app runs without problems on Vista 32 and 64 Bit. (But I'm also using
5.x cvs version).

PS: Also it might help to start your program with administrator rights
(Right Mouse Button - context menu)
