Hello Daniela,
You can use:
vtkExtractEdges *extractEdges = ...
extractEdges->SetInput(inputPolyData);
vtkStripper *stripper = ...
stripper->SetInput(extractEdges->GetOutput());
vtkPolyData polydata = vtkPolyData::New();
polydata->SetPoints(stripper->GetOutput()->GetPoints());
polydata->SetPolys(stripper->GetOutput()->GetLines());
vtkTriangleFilter *triangleFilter = ...
triangleFilter->SetInput(polyData)
vtkAppendPolyData *append = ...
append->AddInput(inputPolyData);
append->AddInput(triangleFilter->GetOutput());
HTH,
Sylvain

Hi there,
I have a vtk file with a PolyData mesh that is a surface acquired with a
laser scanner.
However, this surface has little holes and I would fill them by appending a
similar surface to the holes.
How can I?
daniela
