[vtkusers] Beginner

Hi all,

 

I am a beginner to VTK.I have downloaded most of the stuff form
www.vtk.org <http://www.vtk.org/>  but not able to install it. Can any
of you help me in this regard. Please send me a detailed installation
step-by-step guide like which version I have to use, which cmake file is
required. I install vtk-5.0.3-win32.exe successfully but not able to
install cmake-2.4.6-win32-x86.exe.It hangs in between. Please suggest
some valuable information to me.If possible, please send some sample
programs to have a feel.
