[vtkusers] Java and VTK Jpanel and vtkRenderWindow

Maybe we want to the same thing. I planned to use C++ version VTK in my java GUI application by using Java JNI (Java Native Interface). I have the same problem. I can launch the C++ VTK (example) from my java application via JNI but it is running in a separated VTK window. What I want to do is embed the VTK window into a java JPanel/convase.

Sebastien Jourdain suggested using existing VTK java wrapper instead of creating our own. I am still looking at this to see if it is what I want. Maybe there are some differences between his suggestion and our goal.

Please let me know if you get the answer. I will let you if I find the solution.

James
