[vtkusers] vtk on osx using python 2.5

Hi,
i'm tring to build vtk cvs from source on mac osx 10.4.8
i need to use it with python 2.5 (no fink)

using google i find only old instruction on how to install it,
have you any link that point me to an "up to date" documentations on  
how to install it  ?

thanks for any help or suggestion about vtk on osx + python2.5.
