[vtkusers] URGENT - VTKScalars()

I'm having a problem when tying to run my program.. here is the error:

myscalars = vtk.vtkScalars()
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'vtkScalars'

may i know what is the problem? here are the header of the program.:

from vtk import *
from vtk.tk.vtkTkRenderWindowInteractor import *
from Tkinter import *
from vtk.util.misc import vtkGetDataRoot
from vtk.util.colors import *
