[vtkusers] Dicom image- vtkVolume16Reder

I need to convert a dicom image to vtk format because i want use vtkVolumeRayCastmapper to realize MIP ....
I use class vtkVolume16Reder but the result is bed . Can FRIENDS HELP ME !!!!!!!!!!!
