[vtkusers] connecting data base to VTK routine

Hello

does anybody have experience with implementing a data base in a VTK routine? I
found one comment on this topic of somebody who uses ProC to precompile SQL
commands embedded in C++ code. We intend to visualize clinical data on an atlas
by a click on an anatomic region. Can you give any advice?
I do not have very much experience in programming in general, so I am looking
for the easist possible solution.
