[vtkusers] libGL.so build error

Hi there, 

Just trying to build VTK 5.0.2 on RHEL 4 UPDATE 2 (X86_64) and getting a
problem about 71% through the build. The error states : 

Linking CXX shared library ../../bin/libvtkftgl.so
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-redhat-linux/3.4.4/../../../libGL.so when searching for
-lGL
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libGL.so when searching for -lGL
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lGL

Does anyone know how to tell ccmake to look for the libGL.so in /usr/lib64/ or
how to correct this problem?
