[vtkusers] How to delete points interactively?

Hi,

       I have 3D data scanned by a Laser Measurement System. Now I want to
delete the redundant point ,for example if I choose an area I can decide the
points in this area or out of this area to be deleted. How can I achieve
this operation?Use vtkPicker? How can I get the 3D scope by 2D selection?
Any advice is appreciated!
