[vtkusers] help with compiling VTK (CVS)

If you run ccmake in a clean build directory and make no changes what
happens?

If you post your CMakeCache.txt I bet somebody would be able to help.

`uncompress', `deflate', `inflate', `inflateInit_', `deflateInit_', did
you mess with the use system zlib setting? I've been leaving that
setting alone. I think VTK comes with tweaked versions of that and jpeg,
png...
