[vtkusers] How to model cell with surface?

Hi everyone
I'm trying to program a modelling tool with VTK. First I need to new several
kinds of surface, which can be easily handled by VTK.
Then a fuction neede is constructing a discretional cell from a close space 
surrounded by some of the surfaces have been defined above.

Is there existent VTK method can do this for me ?
If not, I wonder if there are some other methods helpful.
