[vtkusers] is there a function similar to vtkCleanPolyData for UnstructuredGrid

hi all,
     i was looking for a function which has the capability of a  
merging duplicate points, removing unused points etc for a  
unstructuredgrid. vtkCleanPolydata class seems to have all these  
capabilities but can only work on PolyData. Please let me know of any  
class that does the same.
